The Green Economics Institute and GEIAcademy has a lively Educational Department and wonderful international activities. We are one of the original Green Education Institutions with a body of successful training and academic courses established over 20 years. Our tutors and lecturers are amongst the best in the world and range from councillors, policy makers, Nobel Prize Winners, Professors and leaders in Green Jobs.
Our students include -under graduates, post graduates, green campaigners, Doctors, Research Fellows, Professors, and Green Entrepreneurs and company directors as well as farmers, lawyers and many other occupations all with a desire to make the world a better place by working with others.
We have built up a wealth of knowledge and a library of multi disciplinary unique accessible and exciting courses at all levels.

Oxford Style Conference Participation
1. Students are very much encouraged to participate and contribute to our main 21st annual Green Economics Institute Conference.

4. Supervision throughout the summer for the following:
Writing, publishing, research, work experience, viritual visits, conference participation and speaking. This is our most popular course and students for any from 2 weeks to 1 year depending on their requirements. (We have had 1000s of Erasmus students for whom who have created this programme with us.)

13. On line courses include the following:
These will include:
- 12 weeks Post Graduate Directed Studies with our supervisory team, leading to the publication of a book, thesis, academic article or research report output or a series of lectures. for the student to provide or other ouput as agreed.
- 2 weeks directed writing towards publication in one of our magazines, journals, books or reports.
- 4 weeks directed writing and learning using the Institute’s tutorial teams and lecturers and its publications- which include 100 book and academic proceedings titles, and academic journals and magazines.
- 4 weeks study/ work placements ( previously known as internships) where students shadow team members and can write or lecture about an agreed subject usually for publication in one of our titles
- 12 weeks study or work experience (suitable for Erasmus Plus Scheme) ( formerly known as internships) but for mixed inclusion in the range of the institute’s activities. 1000s of students have taken part in this programme and loved it. It is also fits with the Erasmus Plus Scheme. This can be mixed mode with either full on line, or full in person or any combination between the two.
- On line Fellowship for 6 months to 1 year – leads sometimes to full involvement in the Institute but would normally lead to a full publication such as a book or report published in all cases where suitable by the Green Economics Institute.
- Short courses of 2 weeks Summer School being offered throughout the summer, last year we had 100 students for the summer school and it was full so please apply early,
- Part time post graduate diploma on line courses in depth, over 6 months, June 2024 to 2025. The course subjects this year are many and varied. If you would like to apply for this course please email us at info@geiacademy.org to find out more about the subject choices on offer: They will include: Macroeconomics, finance, green economics, climate change and science, accounting, green jobs, political economy of sustainability, gender studies, inclusion, holism, diversity, green economics diplomacy, green diplomacy and much much more.
- Some of these courses will lead to a certificate from the Green Economics Institute subject to the student achieving the required standard and completing the entire course.
- Certificates are presented at a special ceremony held once a year.
- The classes include a lecture and tutorials on line and directed learning and discussion as well as work for the student to do during the week.
The GEI Academy focuses on the practical consequences of educational policy decisions and alternatives.
The GEI Academy considers the relationship between educational policy and educational practice, and sheds new light on important debates and controversies within its field of research.
Our largest ever, state of the art 2 summer schools took place in 2019. In 2021, these courses were on line. Now we are launching our summer school programme in person in 2025 and our 3 month work experience programme formerly what we offered for Erasumus Students for 15 years.
