
On Line Courses
We will be offering a new increases range of on line learning courses in 2020

These will include:
- 12 weeks Post Graduate Directed Studies with our supervisory team, leading to the publication of a book, thesis, academic article or research report output or a series of lectures. for the student to provide or other ouput as agreed.
- 2 weeks directed writing towards publication in one of our magazines, journals, books or reports.
- 4 weeks directed writing and learning using the Institute’s tutorial teams and lecturers and its publications- which include 100 book and academic proceedings titles, and academic journals and magazines.
- 4 weeks study/ work placements ( previously known as internships) where students shadow team members and can write or lecture about an agreed subject usually for publication in one of our titles
- 12 weeks study or work experience (suitable for Erasmus Plus Scheme) ( formerly known as internships) but for mixed inclusion in the range of the institute’s activities. 1000s of students have taken part in this programme and loved it. It is also fits with the Erasmus Plus Scheme. This can be mixed mode with either full on line, or full in person or any combination between the two.
- On line Fellowship for 6 months to 1 year – leads sometimes to full involvement in the Institute but would normally lead to a full publication such as a book or report published in all cases where suitable by the Green Economics Institute.
- Short courses of 2 weeks Summer School being offered throughout the summer, last year we had 100 students for the summer school and it was full so please apply early,
- Part time post graduate diploma on line courses in depth, over 6 months, April 2020 to October 2020. The course subjects this year are many and varied. If you would like to apply for this course please email us at info@geiacademy.org to find out more about the subject choices on offer: They will include: Macroeconomics, finance, green economics, climate change and science, accounting, green jobs, political economy of sustainability, gender studies, inclusion, holism, diversity, green economics diplomacy, green diplomacy and much much more.
- Some of these courses will lead to a certificate from the Green Economics Institute subject to the student achieving the required standard and completing the entire course.
- Certificates can be presented in person, usually in Oxford as a special ceremony held once a year.
- The classes include a lecture and tutorials on line and directed learning and discussion as well as work for the student to do during the week.
